The Parker Memorial Library has many study spaces throughout the building to accommodate those looking for quiet places to study, work on projects or simply read undisturbed. The entire building is equipped with WiFi.
The second floor has two Quiet Study Rooms which can be reserved for a maximum of two hours per day, up to two weeks in advance. A person or group may have only one reservation pending at a time. Quiet Study Room #1 has a desk which runs around two walls of the room and can accommodate 3 people at a time. Quiet Study Room #2 has a table in the middle of the room and can accommodate 6 people at a time. Both room are equipped with electrical plugs. Six Study Carrels are located behind the Non-Fiction book stacks and provide secluded, quiet space for study. The carrels are equipped with electrical plugs.
Eight tables (each seating up to four people), are located in three areas on the second floor. Two of these tables are adapted for wheelchair access. All are equipped with electrical plugs.
Two additional study tables (seating two each) are located in the foyer of the Old Library (also known as the Fireplace Room). Quiet areas with easy chairs and low tables are scattered throughout the Library Lobby, Mezzanine, Old Library and Second Floor. These space are ideal for quiet reading.

NOTE: Charging Stations for your electronic devices are available near the elevator on the second floor and near the large window/Travel Section on the Mezzanine.
