Read, Renew, Repeat during our 2024 Summer Reading Challenge!
June 24, 2024 – August 16, 2024

Are you ready to Read, Renew, Repeat with us this summer? Join us for our Summer Reading Kickoff Party on Tuesday, June 25th between 4:00 and 7:00 for live music, food trucks, lawn games, and, most importantly, to sign up for Summer Reading!

The Young Adult Summer Reading Program is for tweens and teens entering grades 6-12 in the fall.

Log the books you read to be entered into raffles for fun prizes! We’re also offering prizes to the best nature photo and the best writing submitted to us this summer. See below for more details on those contests.

Pre-registration on Beanstack is open now. Paper logs will also be available at the library starting on Monday, 6/24.

Be sure to visit our Events Calendar to check out all the cool crafts and programs planned for the summer. Space and supplies are limited, so registration is required for most events.

All summer reading participants of any age are invited to an Ice Cream Social on Wednesday, August 14th, from 3:00-4:30 to celebrate a summer of Reading, Renewing, and Repeating. There’ll be ice cream (of course) and games, and it’s a great time to turn in a paper reading log before time runs out. We hope to see you there!

YA Nature Photography Contest and Writing Contest Submission Form

Enter the Writing Contest and/or Nature Photography Contest by uploading your photo(s) or document(s) to this form! Submissions will be featured in our art and literary zine, and the winning photographer and writer will each win a gift card!
You can also email your submission(s) directly to askus@dracutlibrary.org if the form doesn’t work for you. Please include your name and your grade in your email. These contests end August 16th.
